137 Bernard Sumner, Hot Chip, and Hot City - “Didn’t Know What Love Was” -
The sneaker company Converse has a fun little sideline going: Rounding up disparate musical artists and getting them to record a song together to advertise Converse. Most recently, they recruited Best Coast, Kid Cudi, and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij to record the track “All Summer”.
Now, Converse is launching a new campaign celebrating music from the UK. They’re kicking things off with the bouncy, house-inflected track “Didn’t Know What Love Was”, which features former Bernard Sumner, Hot Chip co-leaders Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard, and dance duo Hot City. Stream it above and download the track from Converse’s website. The track’s video will debut November 2
